Weyerhaeuser's Corporate and Business sites www.weyerhaeuser.com
Linsky Consulting has worked with Weyerhaeuser over the past 10 years to develop their corporate and business web sites. One of the overall goals of the project has been to create a flexible architecture that provides a consistent user experience for the related sites, yet enables each of their businesses to distinguish it from the other units. In addition, we architected an online order process system that has been adopted company-wide. By streamlining the development process, Linsky Consulting saved Weyerhaeuser over $550,000 in production costs.
Over the past year, Linsky Consulting re-designed the company's corporate site. We were responsible for everything from strategy, Information Architecture and creation of all new content to the design, Flash creation and development of the site.

Aegis Living is a fast growing company that needed a web site that better communicates their brand to potential residents and their families. The site also needs to be flexible so that each community can update their content without affecting the overall site. Linsky Consulting built their web site and admin tools that enable ongoing updates of content. In addition, we managed the translation of one of the communities to Chinese.

The Brainerd Foundation wanted to update to their site so it was more engaging and interactive and better present information about the Brainerd Foundation. By making the navigation dynamic, updating the home page, making the content more visually interesting, and streamlining the grant application process on the backend, we gave them a more dynamic site and a simplified backend process.

Seattle Cancer Care Alliance www.seattlecca.org
The Seattle Cancer Care Alliance (SCCA) brings together three dynamic institutions: Fred Hutchison Cancer Care Alliance, the University of Washington Academic Medical Center, and Children's Hospital and Regional Medical Center. As a new entity set up by the three partners, the SCCA needed to create a unique image while honoring the existence of the other organization's brand and content. At the same time, the SCCA and its partners needed a unified site to showcases their network of related research. In addition, the site needed to present a difficult subject in a compassionate way to an audience with wide range of education and understanding about cancer, its effects and treatment options. Linsky Consulting helped the SCCA and its partners work to create a unified site that showcases their web of related research.

Mikron needed a "high-end" web site that represented how their high-quality products are distinct from their competitors. Linsky Consulting worked with Mikron to develop a site that is easy to use and better represents their product line.

Athena Partners www.athenapartners.org
Athena is a nonprofit organization with two goals: to donate all proceeds from the sale of its bottled water to fund women's cancer research, and to build a web site that has the largest database of women's cancer resources in the Northwest. Linsky Consulting developed the site with easy-to-use administrative tools so the organization can easily update both the site and the resources database. This site is now being used as a blueprint for developing similar databases around the country.

T-Mobile needed to update their web site architecture to better align with their new business strategy. Linsky Consulting worked with the key stakeholders in each of the business divisions to develop an updated web architecture that better fit the needs of both the organization and their customers.

Microsoft Operations SharePoint portal
Linsky Consulting is working with the variety of groups and missions within the Microsoft Operations team to create a common look and feel to better promote the mission and work of the Microsoft Operations team. The site is part of the InfoWeb environment.

Microsoft Operations Scorecard
Linsky Consulting developed the interface and prototype for the Microsoft Operations Scorecard which provides key company metrics to the Microsoft Operations executive team. This interactive scorecard enables users to drill-down to the information they need to see how their organization is performing. This is the first time these diverse metrics from multiple databases have been available via one interface.

For these CD-ROMs, Linsky Consulting was asked to create a visually engaging interface and easier to use information architecture that enabled users to easily navigate through a wide range of marketing materials and showcased product templates and tips and tricks. We designed and developed an innovative solution that enables users to preview thumbnails of documents by category before downloading the content. CD-ROMs are available upon request.
Keynote Presentations
In 2003, 2004, 2005 we produced the keynote presentation for Margo Day, Vice President, Microsoft US Partner Group and at the Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference. As the executive producer, we managed both the development and onsite teams for the presentation and video. These presentations have received high scores at each conference.
Usability Tests
For the past few years, we have designed and facilitated usability tests for the Microsoft Media Center in-store demo. These usability tests were conducted with both consumers and sales people and have provided invaluable feedback to the design and development teams.
We have also recently designed and facilitated a usability test on the updated InfoWeb SharePoint portal for the Sales, Marketing and Services Communication team and the Microsoft Business Value Group.
In addition, over the past few years we have designed and facilitated focus group and usability tests for T-Mobile, AT&T, and Trendwest.
Research
Linsky Consulting conducted a research project for Microsoft North American Communications Council (NACC) to better understand the field's comments that extraneous e-mail and e-newsletters in addition to difficult access to content on portals were a barrier to productivity. The results of the research were guidelines for creating effective e-mail and newsletter content. The research was conducted with two primary audiences: consumers of information (EPG, SMSP and Services) and providers of information (primarily BMO/Segment Marketing and MBS).
Strategic Marketing
Linsky Consulting worked with the SMS&P group to promote the Microsoft Home Use Program, a benefit of the Software Assurance program, which is available as part of Microsoft volume licensing program. We provided strategic planning, creative development and production of the marketing plan and marketing materials that included print pieces and a web site.
